How to identify

The octave has a total of 12 swaras. There are seven Suddh, four Komal and one Tivra swar. Together the Suddh swar is “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dh and Ni”. There is no Komal or Tivra of Sa and Pa because these are steady swar.

Ma is the Tivra swar. When it climbs slightly above its actual position then it is called Tivra. “Re Ga Dha and Ni” are all Komal. When it gets slightly below its actual position, it is called Komal.

स्वरों को कैसे पहचानें

सप्तक में कुल 12 स्वर होते हैं। जिनमें सात शुद्ध, चार कोमल और एक तीव्र स्वर होता है। सात शुद्ध स्वर “सा रे ग म प ध और नी” होता है। जिसमें सा और प स्थिर स्वर होता है, इसका कोई कोमल या तीव्र नहीं होता है।

म का तीव्र स्वर होता है। जब यह अपने वास्तविक स्थान से थोड़ा ऊपर चढ़ जाता है तब तीव्र कहलाता है। “रे ग ध और नी” इन चारों के कोमल होते हैं। जब यह अपने वास्तविक स्थान से थोड़ा नीचे उतर जाते हैं तो कोमल कहलाते हैं।
